2010 Rankings: Doctoral Programs in America
2010 Rankings: Doctoral Programs in America
About 5,000 university doctoral programs, in 59 fields of study, have been ranked in terms of quality by the National Research Council. To see how a particular program fared, start by clicking in Column 1, "Choose a Broad Field," and proceed through the next two columns. You will then be able to explore 21 features of that program, such as the average annual number of publications per faculty member, or the percentage of students with financial support. You can then compare the program with others in the field. And you can see how the program ranks on the NRC scale based on criteria like those.

The SCImago Journal & Country Rank

"The SCImago Journal & Country Rank is a portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus® database (Elsevier B.V.). These indicators can be used to assess and analyze scientific domains. This platform takes its name from the SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) indicator, developed by SCImago from the widely known algorithm Google PageRank™. This indicator shows the visibility of the journals contained in the Scopus® database from 1996 (...)
As well as SJR Portal, SCImago has developed The Atlas of Science project, which proposes the creation of an information system whose major aim is to achieve a graphic representation of IberoAmerican Science Research. Such representation is conceived as a collection of interactive maps, allowing navigation functions throughout the semantic spaces formed by the maps".

Criterios para evaluar sitios educativos en Second Life
Propongo estos cinco criterios para evaluar sitios educativos en Second Life. Como trabajo de Curso, Jennifer Staninger y yo tenemos que hacer una Guía de Viaje de sitios educativos en Second Life. Dado que en numerosas ocasiones, estos están realmente vacíos y carecen de información relevante, aplicaremos estos criterios para construir una guía de viaje crítica.
